It is worth visiting the picturesque  fishing village of 'Perdika' to taste  fresh fish and swim in the nearby beaches. Another option could be to walk around the mountain villages ‘Pahia Rahi’ ,
'Anitsaio’ and of cource  the pine forests that cover the area around Agia Marina. Aegina also hosts very important pilgrimages (monasteries).  The Holy Monastery  of ‘Chrysoleontissa’, the Monastery of Saint Mina, the Monastery of St. Anastasia and many chapels.
